To Kill a Mockingbird Death of a Salesman Blog Links Ask me!

Hello again fellow readers! I have another discussion topic for you guys:

Was the American Dream to blame for Willy’s misfortune?
In my opinion, I think partially. At the time many seekers of success and fortune became delusional because of it. The typical American Dream story of a young man who set a goal and strived for the best through blood, sweat and tears, finally achieving gold and riches inspired many! Many courageous men then thoughts of great plans and ideas and set out to find their riches, but at the end, actually did nothing and ended up with nothing and Willy was one of them.
Remember to leave your opinions in the tagboard (on the left) I would love to hear what you guys think!

On the topic of the American dream, we can see big changes in the idea or view of it now. Instead of having huge almost impossible goals many Americans nowadays simply view a achieving the American dream  as being able to start a family, have a stable job and income and to be happy.
